Kooky's Lucid Dream Room
If you are new to lucid dreaming read our tutorial on
DreamInitiatedLucidDreams.
Before lucid dreamers go to sleep they should repeatedly tell themselves that they will have a lucid dream and visualise themselves having that lucid dream.
Kooky's Lucid Dream Room is a visualisation exercise to help you perform this task more effectively.
Use this visualisation task with the
MnemonicInductionOfLucidDreams technique.
The Room
Imagine yourself to be in the dream room shown to the left. You are sitting on the chair in the middle of the room, staring at the picture of
Kooky. Notice every detail, the colours of the walls, the tiled floor, the number of windows etc.
Look at this image at various times through the day and before you go to sleep. Better yet,
click here to visit the room∞ in Google's new
virtual world∞. This will allow you to walk around the room and really get to know it. You can also chat to anyone else that may be there. Spend some time there (especially just before bed) to increase your chances of incorporating the room in to your dreams. You will need to create a Google account to access the room, but it's all free. When you go to bed, visualise that you are in the room. Tell yourself that you will visit it in your dreams. Having spent time in the virtual room, it should be easy to visualise it in detail.
The room is purposely sparse to make it easy to visualise. It floats in the clouds, so if you ever find yourself there, you must be dreaming.
Your Exit
If you arrive in Kooky's Lucid Dream Room you should immediately recognise that you are dreaming and should be able to start your lucid dream adventure. When you are ready to leave the room, go to the hole in the wall which is behind the chair. Through the hole you will see the clouds. Simply fly through the hole and the clouds to reach your desired destination.
Let us know in the forums if your manage to reach the dream room. Have fun :)
