Online Dream Journal

TheDreamJournal is a very important tool for lucid dreamers. Recording your dreams helps to improve dream recall, and it also helps you to identify DreamSigns, which you can then use to help you become lucid if they occur during your dreams.

We have created an online dream journal gadget that you can use from our homepage. Together with the LucidDreamClock, this provides you with valuable assistance with important aspects of your lucid dreaming routine.

Online Dream Journal, Main Features

• Password protected. You enter a password to access your dream journal. The password is used to encrypt the text in your browser. The password is not stored anywhere and only encrypted text is sent over the network. This helps to protect your privacy.
• Quick Entry. If you only want a simple solution, you can just enter a title and description for each of your dreams.
• Full Entry. If you are interested in analysing your progress, you can enter more details such as which lucid dreaming induction techniques you were using when you had the dream and the duration of the dream. You can rate the dream and record how lucid the dream was, record what brought you out of your lucid dream and also make additional notes.
• Dream Signs. You can optionally identify text in your journal entries as potential dream signs. Previously entered dream signs can be selected from drop down lists and inserted in to the dream description as you type. We even identify how many times you have used each dream sign.
• Simple Browsing. You can browse though a list of your dreams, and sort them by date (most recent first), lucidity rating (totally lucid first), or general experience rating (most memorable first).
• Quick Editing / Viewing. Simply click on a dream in the list to edit or view the full details.
• Searching. Searching is performed by setting a filter to narrow down the dreams displayed. You can filter your lucid dreams by date range, ratings, duration, dream signs encountered, techniques used etc.
• Access Anywhere. You can update your journal anywhere you can get an internet connection (home, work, school, cyber cafe etc.).
• Daily Backups. We backup our database daily to keep your journal is safe.

This is only the first release of our online dream journal. If the gadget proves to be popular we will add extensive analysis features too.
