What provides inspiration for your lucid dreams?
Does watching certain films, or listening to certain music inspire you to have vivid dreams that you can then take control of? Make your recommendations here and tell us in a short paragraph what is inspirational about them.

The Matrix Trilogy (added by Brett)
The Matrix films have plenty of cool ideas you can replicate in lucid dreams, but what I love about them is that they are a good tutorial on achieving fantastic things in lucid dreams, i.e. its about having the knowledge that your surroundings are not real and the belief that you can do anything.

Donnie Darko (added by Brett)
One of my all time favourites. From beginning to end the film has a dream-like feel to it. The main character sleepwalks, has hallucinations and manages to perform some unexplainable feats. Watch it before going to bed and you will probably feel chilled out, confused and ready to slip in to your own bizarre dream world.

Star Wars (Suggested by Cody425)
Along with an epic story line, the Star Wars films fired the imagination of generations of people. The various force powers, space battles and light sabre battles together with all the foreign worlds to visit and creates to meet make Star Wars a great source of material, sufficient to fill many lucid dreams.

X-Men
So far I've tried walking through walls, but not much else. i strongly recommend trying out your favorite x-men power! (please use it for good not evil :D )

Harry Potter (Book works for me)
Do i need to say more?? I've had dreams after this where i was enlisted in magic school and was truly tested on my abilities including the control of my mind.

Jumper
I felt the story line was lacking slightly but i was desperate at the time to try techniques for teleporting to Japan. The special effects helped my imagination out considerably.

Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi
A crazy Japanese comedy animation series, where the main characters experience ever-changing ridiculous dream-like worlds. (i personally cant stand teh english dubbed version)
