Dream Exit Initiated Lucid Dreams (DEILD)
Written by Exhalent (as of 7/19/08)
For this article, I will be referring to Dream Exit Initiated Lucid Dreams as DEILD(s).
Since the purpose of this article is to help, I suggest that you edit this to make it as clear as possible.
What is DEILD?
The first thing that you must know when attempting to DEILD is what DEILD is. Dream Exit Initiated Lucid Dreams are dreams that are chained together, allowing for a vast amount of Lucid Dreams in a row.
How would one DEILD then?
Basically all you have to do are these basic steps:
1. Wake up with your eyes closed.
As soon as you feel yourself from waking up, just prevent yourself from opening your eyes(this may take practice).
2. Keep your eyes closed.
Just hold your eyes closed. If you try to hard to keep your eyes closed, you will probably not be able to go back to sleep.
3. Relax.
This is very important. You must stay very relaxed and allow yourself to fade into a dream.
4. Visualize a scene.
Imagine any scene that you wish to lucid dream in. The easiest setting would probably be the last dream you just came out of.
5. Enjoy the effects of DEILD!
At this point, you have successfully got into a LD using DEILD!
What is the success rate of this method?
It is very high. I have had 2 DEILDs and they were easy to acheive compared to DILD (for me at least).
Why this instead of other methods?
Since this method can be used to chain many dreams together, it is simple to use over and over again. There is only one flaw; Since you have to
wake up you cannot fall asleep to LD using this method. I highly recommend using DILD and then upon awakening, use DEILD over and over again.
